Fortes chuvas alagam metrô e 12 pessoas morrem afogadas
Desde o último sábado (17), as fortes chuvas que atingem a província de Henan, na China, deixaram 25 pessoas mortas. As precipitações que atingiram a China já são denominadas como as ‘piores tempestades em 1000 anos’. Além das 25 mortes, sete pessoas ainda seguem desaparecidas.
Em Zhengzhou, capital da província de Henan, as fortes chuvas alagaram o metrô e causaram a morte de ao menos 12 pessoas. Pelas redes sociais, sobreviventes relataram que os socorristas precisaram abrir o teto do vagão para retirar os passageiros, que já estavam parcialmente submersos.
Cerca de 100 mil foram retiradas de suas casas na capital Zhengzhou, onde os transportes ferroviário e rodoviário foram interrompidos, com represas e reservatórios cheios em níveis alarmantes e milhares de tropas realizando uma operação de resgate na província.
Autoridades municipais disseram que mais de 500 pessoas foram resgatadas do metrô inundado, com imagens das redes sociais mostrando passageiros de trem no escuro, com água até o peito, e uma estação reduzida a uma grande piscina marrom.
