Quem já estava tirando para fora do guarda-roupas as camisetas de manga curta, pode se preparar para guardá-las no fundo do armário novamente. Na próxima semana, a previsão é de retorno do frio intenso no Rio Grande do Sul, com possibilidade de neve em algumas regiões.
A mudança começa a partir de quarta-feira (28), quando uma massa de ar de origem polar avança pelo Brasil. Ela chega associada a um sistema de baixa pressão, inibindo a formação de nuvens carregadas em boa parte do Estado.
— A falta de nuvens faz as temperaturas caírem mais rápido. Porém, entre a quarta e a quinta (29) haverá nebulosidade na Serra e no Norte, o que favorece a neve, em razão da umidade e do frio intenso — explica a meteorologista Dóris Palma, da Somar.
A menor temperatura deve ocorrer na quarta e na quinta em São José dos Ausentes, onde os termômetros devem registrar -5°C. Na quinta, Vacaria deve ter -3°C, Bagé e Quaraí, 0°C e Santa Maria 1°C. Porto Alegre deve ter mínima de 4°C. Além da chance de neve, a geada deve encobrir boa parte do território gaúcho.
Essa onda de frio intenso permanece até os primeiros dias de agosto, quando começará a perder força, entre os dias 2 e 3.
