Chuva de granizo causa estragos no Norte do Rio Grande do Sul
O temporal com chuva de granizo registrado no final da noite desta segunda-feira e início da madrugada desta terça, danificou a cobertura de 300 casas na cidade de Getúlio Vargas, no Norte do Estado. O Corpo de Bombeiros, Defesa Civil e equipes da prefeitura iniciaram a distribuição de lonas logo após o mau tempo. Um levantamento completo dos danos nas residências e estabelecimentos comerciais deve ser finalizado na tarde desta terça-feira. Mais de 13 mil metros de lonas foram entregues aos moradores.
Os municípios de Estação, Sanaduva e Erebango também foram afetados, com danos em residências na cidade e zona rural. A Defesa Civil e demais órgãos públicos agem rápido para proteger as famílias, em razão, também, da chegada da onda de frio que já ocorre no Estado.
Ainda no Norte do Estado, a queda de granizo e chuvas fortes foram registrados em Frederico Westphalen e Rodeio Bonito. Na região Celeiro o temporal causou danos em São Valério do Sul, Coronel Bicaco, São Martinho, Santo Augusto, Horizontina e Três de Maio. Em Passo Fundo moradores relataram a ocorrência de granizo nos Bairros Jardim América, São José, Planaltina e Nossa Senhora Aparecida.
