Mais de 175 mil maços de cigarros paraguaios contrabandeados são interceptados pela PRF
A Polícia Rodoviária Federal calculou a apreensão de mais de 175 mil maços de cigarros paraguaios contrabandeados em dois flagrantes no Rio Grande do Sul. Os flagrantes ocorreram na última terça-feira nas regiões da Serra e Sul do Estado.
Em Caxias do Sul, o efetivo da PRF interceptou mais de 150 mil unidades do produto ilícito em um caminhão, com placas de Quevedo, foi abordado na BR 116. O motorista, um paranaense de 36 anos, foi preso.
Em Rio Grande, os policiais rodoviários federais recolheram mais de 25 mil maços de cigarros transportados em uma van, com placas da cidade paulista de Campinas. O veículo foi parado na BR 392.
O condutor, de 32 anos e natural de Pelotas, foi detido. Ele já possui antecedentes criminais por estupro, sequestro, tráfico de drogas e roubo.
AGROTÓXICOS
Em Santa Maria, a PRF apreendeu 645 litros de agrotóxicos com um contrabandista na noite de terça-feira. Ele estava com uma Fiat Strada e trocava um pneu do veículo em uma borracharia. Os produtos tinham também validade vencida e indícios de falsificação.
O indivíduo, de 58 anos, com vasta ficha criminal por contrabando e furto de agrotóxicos, foi preso. Ele confessou que venderia a mercadoria em Cacequi.
