Pfizer entrega mais de 1 milhão de doses de vacina ao Brasil
Um voo trazendo 1.076.400 doses da vacina contra a covid-19 ComiRNAty, da Pfizer, chegou por volta das 19h30 desta quarta-feira (18) no aeroporto de Viracopos, em Campinas (SP). A empresa deve entregar 17,6 milhões de doses entre os dias 3 e 22 de agosto.
É o 49º lote entregue pela farmacêutica ao governo brasileiro. Entre o final de agosto e setembro há a previsão da chegada de quase 52,4 milhões de doses – que fazem parte do primeiro acordo firmado no dia 19 de março e que contempla a disponibilização de 100 milhões de vacinas até o final do terceiro trimestre de 2021.
O segundo contrato, assinado em 14 de maio, prevê a entrega de mais 100 milhões de doses entre outubro e dezembro. Ao longo do ano, a farmacêutica fornecerá um total de 200 milhões de doses de vacina ao Brasil.
