Gaúcho é preso com mais de meia tonelada de maconha pela PRF em Santa Catarina
A Polícia Rodoviária Federal de Santa Catarina confirmou nesta segunda-feira que um gaúcho foi preso com mais de meia tonelada de maconha na BR 101, em Joinville. A droga foi avaliada em cerca de R$ 1,2 milhão.
O flagrante ocorreu na noite de domingo. O efetivo da PRF abordou uma Chevrolet S10, com placas de Viamão (RS). Na revista na caminhonete, os policiais rodoviários federais localizaram um total de 592 quilos de maconha.
O motorista, um gaúcho de 31 anos, natural de Quaraí, abandonou o veículo e tentou fugir correndo, mas foi alcançado e preso logo em seguida. Ele admitiu que receberia em torno de R$ 10 mil pelo transporte do entorpecente.
Um Chevrolet Prisma, com placas de São Paulo (SP), que atuava como batedor, também foi interceptado. O condutor, um uruguaio de 54 anos, e a passageira, uma maranhense de 36 anos, foram detidos.
Conforme a PRF, o carregamento de maconha vinha de Foz do Iguaçu, no Paraná, na fronteira com Ciudad del Este, no Paraguai. O destino inicial seria Florianópolis (SC).
