Em comemoração à Semana do Meio Ambiente, a Foz do Chapecó Energia disponibilizou no site o Guia de Fauna com informações e fotos das espécies da região. O material foi produzido dentro do programa de Monitoramento e Conservação da Fauna Terrestre na APP do reservatório, como parte do licenciamento ambiental da usina. O guia traz os grupos de animais – aracnídeos, répteis, anfíbios, aves e mamíferos – com fotos, habitats, curiosidades e formas de alimentação. Além de estar disponível no site, o material será encaminhado para as escolas que recebem o Programa de Educação Ambiental da Foz do Chapecó, nos municípios abrangidos pela usina.
